Gangotri Temple: One of the important Char Dham religious sites in Hindus is Gangotri Dham which is one of the sources of Holy Ganges River. The most and longest pious river in world is River Ganga. The birthplace of the holy Ganges River is Gangotri Dham which is the second temple that falls on the circuit of Chota Char Dham. The place here the Ganges is emerged from Gangotri Glacier is Gaumukh. God Shiva took the stream in his matted locks to reduce the shattering pace of Ganga River. Gangotri will be opened on the day of Akshaya Trithiya on 7th May 2019 and closed after two days of Diwali.
Kedarnath Temple: The most remote religious spot in the yatra is Kedarnath which is situated in the district Rudraprayag of Uttarakhand state. It has the highest located Jyotirling which is known as the land of God Shiva. The most revered is the temple Kedarnath which is out of the entire temple dedicated to God Shiva. The Northern- most Jyotirlinga is Kedarnath which is close to source of the holy Mandakini River. Kedarnath will be opened on 9th May 2019 and closed on the day of Bhai Duj after two days of Diwali.
Badrinath Temple: A part of both Chota Char Dham and Char Dham is Badrinath which is one of the 108 Divya Desams. One of the most revered religious places for Hindu religion is Badrinath which is acknowledged by sages and seers since antiquity. Further enhanced with the glorious background of Neelkanth peak is the beauty of Badrinath Dham which sandwiched between peak of Nar and Narayan. Similar to the appearance of temple Buddhist Vihara is the architecture appearance of the temple Badrinath. Badrinath will be opened on 10th May 2019 and closed after two days of Diwali.
